Day 22: 31 Days of Halloween 2013

Only a little more than a week left! I can't believe it! Is everyone ready for Halloween, have you gotten all your pumpkins carved and costumes sewn? I'd love to hear about the preps you are working on in this last week, and if you've given any of the featured projects presented by our Wicked Bloggers a try yet.

I've almost finished with my kids' costumes, and we'll be carving pumpkins tonight. We have a busy week ahead as we have four different opportunities for them to dress up: a fall festival at school, a trunk-or-treat event that is being put on by my husband's boat, a Halloween party, and of course, the big day....whew! Three of the four are happening this weekend...crazy right? Anyhoo, let me know about your plans and preps, I'd love to hear about it :)

In the meantime, our Wicked Bloggers have yet more amazing projects to share with you today, and how about a big round of applause for our bloggers! They are rockin' it this year! Plus, our enormously generous sponsors are once again offering up goodies, we are so very grateful to them for sticking with us all month long!!!!

We will be hiding one each day and giving you a clue, and anyone who finds it will be entered into a drawing for one of the prizes. Each sponsor for the day will have a different winner.

Once you find the image, EMAIL US and tell us whose blog it is on.
(smearedinkstamps@gmail.com)

To qualify for today's drawing we must receive all guesses by 9am PST tomorrow morning. If you guess correctly you will get one entry into the daily drawing. The winner will be drawn using random.org and we will announce the winner tomorrow.

Here's your clue for Day 22:

You'll find me dancing under a pale moon
as I tempt mere mortals to their doom.
Gaze upon me, all dipped in maroon.

Have fun! See you again tomorrow!

  1. The most fun and interactive of the holiday activities begin this week. This weekend we head out to local state parks where the campers decorate and hand out candy.
Online there are several blog hops (also for goodies) that showcase Halloween decorations and scary stories. I have links to 3 big ones on my blog.

  2. We still haven't gone to the pumpkin patch yet! I'm hoping to go Thursday or Friday. All the Halloween fun, then planning Christmas next, I think we are going to skip Thanksgiving this year;)

  3. Hi, sounds like you are super busy. I have my annual pumpkin party planned for this saturday. Hoping to have to feed around 40 folk. Will carve the pumpkin friday probably. Managed to grow a 21kg (44lb)this year, not bad for Norway!! My record is 25kg a few years ago. My party is more a harvest/thanksgiving thing but obviously pumpkin is a big feature and theres always some halloweeny deco around. Have fun bwahahahaha

  5. Kierstynne has her pumpkins painted. She likes to paint them not carve them. We have some small decorations up, but we don't really go overboard. I don't take her trick or treating because we have a Light the Night event at our church as an alternative to trick or treating.
